From our successful crowdfunding project, we present you the BEYOND BENTO BOX!
With shrinking demand for these delicate handmade wood bento boxes, and the challenges that bentwood craft artisan faces, we want to drive new interests in this forgotten craft. So we developed the Beyond Bento Box that is versatile, functional and fun-to-use.

(1) 2-tier stacked bento box with lid
(2) notched-dividers (as brush holders or chopstick holders)
(1) platform insert
 
TIERING: the most beloved characteristics and aesthetics of Japanese bento box is tiering and stacking. It also adds to the organizational and functional value.  
 
PARTITIONING:   wood dividers called 仕切り("shi-ki-ri") makes bento boxes versatile and fun to use.  Taking the idea of bento box food-partitioning, we designed multiple removable dividers.  Making Beyond Bento box flexible for different configurations. 
 
Do you know that the first idea of usage of Beyond Bento was a tool box for lacquer and kintsugi craft? Nonetheless, you determine how to creatively utilize this box, while support our initiative in sustaining an old craft.  Own and build your personal story with it, craft journey, food journey, or mementos.
 
The Beyond Bento comes with 2 stacked-up boxes, 2 dividers and 1 insert platform. 
Use it as a tool box or art supply box, the dividers can be your brush holders, the insert platform sub-divide the tall box to give you extra layer of storage.  
Use it as a food box, the dividers can become chopstick holders.
